Bridget Conlan is a Staff Attorney at the Liberty Justice Center.
Bridget first began working with LJC in 2022 as a legal intern during her first summer of law school. She returned to LJC as an intern during her third year of law school, and joined LJC full-time as a staff attorney in 2024, post-graduation. During her tenure at LJC Bridget has helped clients with issues ranging from First Amendment violations, to equal protection claims and warrantless searches.
Bridget is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as president and founder of the Hayekians, a libertarian student organization honoring F.A. Hayek. She was selected as one of two Lynde and Harry Bradley Student Fellows for 2022-2023; this fellowship program was established in furtherance of the academic mission of the Bradley Foundation, encouraging students to work and study in areas that explore the role of limited government in a legal regime that fosters a dynamic marketplace for economic, intellectual, and cultural activity. During law school, between her internships with LJC, Bridget worked as a summer associate at the Chicago office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Bridget earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Institutions from Northwestern University, magna cum laude. Prior to attending law school, Bridget managed a commercial shared kitchen for food entrepreneurs in the western suburbs of Chicago and worked as a consultant for a biomedical device company.
During her free time, she enjoys cooking, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with her Great Dane, Winston.
Bridget is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Illinois, and Wyoming. Bridget is also admitted to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of Illinois, the Western District of Tennessee, and the District of Wyoming.
