Jarrett v. SEIU, Local 503

On November 2, the Liberty Justice Center, the Illinois Policy Institute, and the Upper Midwest Law Center jointly filed an amicus brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to grant certiorari in Jarrett v. Service Employees International Union (SEIU). This case consolidates five separate cases, filed in three states, where government employees have sued their unions for withholding dues from their paychecks without their consent—in violation of their rights under Janus v. AFSCME.
