US Supreme Court to Hear LJC’s First Amendment Challenge to Federal TikTok Ban
On January 10, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the Liberty Justice Center’s First Amendment challenge to the federal TikTok ban set to take effect on January 19.
Jacob Huebert, President of the Liberty Justice Center, will be available to media before and after the argument to discuss the hearing, the potential ramifications of the Court’s decision, and the Liberty Justice Center’s lawsuit, which argues that the TikTok ban is an unprecedented act of censorship that would violate the First Amendment right of over 170 million Americans who use the app. Schedule an interview here.
Livestreamed audio of the oral arguments will be available to the public on the Supreme Court’s website here.
ABOUT US
We're Taking on the Big Fights.
We fight for the constitutional rights of American families, workers, advocates, and entrepreneurs.
We challenge some of the biggest threats to liberty across the country, taking on issues ranging from free speech to federal government overreach, educational freedom, and more. When Americans’ rights are threatened, we fight back with smart legal strategies to build the America we seek to preserve for ourselves, our families, and our future.
We take on these fights without ever charging our clients a dime—even if it means taking their case all the way to the Supreme Court, like we did for Mark Janus in Janus v. AFSCME, a landmark case where we restored the rights of government employees to choose whether to join a union. We invite you to learn more and join our fight.
The Liberty Justice Center helped Mark Janus win at the U.S. Supreme Court and restore the rights of government workers to choose whether to join a union. Learn More
