In this interview on CNN, Liberty Justice Center CEO Sara Albrecht and client, Asher Rapkin CEO, Collective Horology, discuss the legal challenge against sweeping new tariffs and their impact on American businesses and consumers.
Albrecht explains why the lawsuit challenges executive overreach and argues that Congress must do its job by setting clear limits on tariff authority: “They [Congress] need to do their job, and we’re kind of doing their job for them.” “We’re challenging the tariffs because it’s really not about the president — it’s about the presidency and stopping this power now and not letting future presidents make up statutes and rules just to fit their own needs.”
