Chris Butler is a legal intern at the Liberty Justice Center. Chris is a 2L at the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University. Prior to law school, Chris graduated from Penn State University, graduating in 2021. During the last year of undergrad, he served as the Student Government President, successfully working with the state of Pennsylvania to reopen campuses amidst the pandemic shutdowns. After graduating with a B.S. in Finance and Economics, Chris built a career in energy transactions, specializing in tax incentives and corporate valuation, before moving to D.C. to begin law school. In his free time, he enjoys reading, piano performances, and spending time with his fiancée.
