Development Officer

Liberty Justice Center (LJC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public-interest litigation firm that fights to protect constitutional rights and hold government accountable. Through strategic, high-impact cases, LJC advances individual liberty, free speech, economic freedom, and limited government nationwide.

LJC is a mission-driven, entrepreneurial organization with a growing national profile and a commitment to achieving measurable legal victories that create lasting change.

About the Role

The Development Officer will play a critical role in driving LJC’s fundraising growth by building and managing relationships with individual donors and prospects. This position focuses on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making significant gifts, helping to sustain and expand LJC’s litigation efforts.

LJC approaches fundraising through a mission-first, vision-driven strategy—engaging donors in the full scope and long-term impact of our work, rather than isolated projects. The Development Officer will be a key ambassador of this approach.

This is an ideal role for a relationship-driven fundraiser who thrives on connecting donors to meaningful impact, making direct asks, and contributing to an ambitious, results-oriented development program.

This position is fully remote anywhere in the US, with occasional travel and reports to senior leadership.
