It accuses a think tank of defamation. Yeah, that will help the children.
The Chicago Teachers Union is deeply unpopular, but rather than engage in soul-searching, it has taken a page from Donald Trump and filed a defamation lawsuit. Last week the CTU sued the conservative Illinois Policy Institute, the think tank’s Chicago Policy Center executive director Austin Berg, and the Liberty Justice Center, alleging a “smear campaign designed to inflict maximum reputational harm.”
