Loren A. Seehase is a Senior Attorney at Liberty Justice Center where she litigates cases to prevent government overreach, protect private property, defend individual rights, and promote economic liberty.
Loren is currently a litigator on LJC’s cases challenging mayors’ executive orders and city ordinances restricting the right to bear arms in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Since joining LJC Loren has helped clients on issues ranging from property rights, to free speech, to COVID vaccine mandates.
Before joining Liberty Justice Center, Loren was a litigator for a top Hawaii law firm where she practiced in the firm’s Construction Law, Real Estate, Land Use & Eminent Domain, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Appeals practice groups – primarily in the areas of land use, zoning, construction law, environmental law, and constitutional law. She also represented clients in the areas of ocean law, business and commercial disputes, product liability, and employment law.
Loren was selected by her peers to the 2022 and 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list in the practice areas of Commercial Litigation, Litigation-Construction and Litigation-Real Estate. She was also selected in 2022, 2021, and 2020 by Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in Land Use & Zoning.
A graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law, Loren was a Staff Writer for the University of Hawaii Law Review, a Constitutional Law Teaching Assistant, and a Research Assistant for an Intellectual Property Treatise republication. She served as a Summer Associate at Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert in Hawaii – working on both transactional and litigation matters, and a Law Clerk/Extern for Judge Lisa M. Ginoza of the State of Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals.
Loren earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, cum laude.
Loren enjoys hiking, swimming, bicycling, and tennis. She currently resides in Florida with her husband and four children.
Loren is licensed to practice law in Hawaii. She is admitted to Hawaii federal district court and the United States Supreme Court.
